Please play in full screen, there is a sizing issue in the UIs so that are not centered and might be off the screen if not full screened. If unable to full screen, the second button in death UI is just a quit.
A game made by me in 4 days for the GMTK 2025 Game Jam.
Controls: Left Click or Z to grapple onto white circles, Right Click or X to grapple onto enemies. Space to shoot.
Rules: YOU HAVE AUTO AIM, but it only works on the geometric shapes you are grappled with.
To kill enemies, you must shoot at all their vertices (these are where the corruptions hide), if you fail to shoot them all down, then they will implode their hosts after a certain amount of time shooting out projectiles that will kill you.
After destroying all vertices on a shape (and staying latched on until the end), you will gain a speed boost.
Do watch out for the geometric shapes pulsing faster and turning white, this means that they are about to implode which will kill you if you get hit.
To slow down: just detach from either the white circles or enemies, of course, after defeating an enemy you get a speed boost so detach before defeating an enemy
Lore: You are a files repairer, a correction protocol. You go deep into the essence of files to slowly but surely correct every error in the code. You smooth out corners by targeting the corruptions lying on every vertex of every shape. Now its geometry is fractured. Every geometry you fail to stabilize in time lets the corruption win. Thereby triggering a chain of events that destroys the host from within. DO NOT LET YOUR FELLOW PROCCESSES DOWN.
